Green Gate Farms
Author Kate Payne, in conjuction with Green Gate Farms and their New Farm Institute, will host an intensive fermentation workshop. The class will cover the following master recipes along with ideas for improvising or adjusting for personal flavor preference or available vegetables:
Kimchi or Sauerruben
Cultured seasonal veggies in a fermented brine
Live-cultured vinegars from fruit juices, wine or fruit scraps
Participants will each take home a recipe packet and 3-5lbs of seasonal veggies from Green Gate Farms to ferment at home.
