Chef, Fabrizia Lanza, owner of the Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School in Sicily will join Péché’s Chef John Lichtenberger for a four-course paired wine dinner. Taste wines from the Tasca D’Almerita Winery as Lanza and Lichtenberger team up to bring you fresh, seasonal Italian cuisine. Come celebrate the arrival of spring at the second annual German celebration, Maifest. Hosted by the Austin Saengerrunde – a German singing society founded in 1879 – the event will offer exclusive limited edition beer tastings on a rooftop beer garden, bowling, and live music from the Czech Melody Masters, Off The Grid, Los Kolaches, and Sour Bridges. The celebration kicks off at 1pm, but patrons are welcome to stay and dance until 11pm.
Experience downtown living options at the 10th Annual Downtown Living Tour. The tour begins at 11am with live acoustic music, and free bites & champagne at CRAVE Austin on E. 2nd St. From there, shuttle busses will take you to 8-10 properties located in downtown Austin. Several local retailers and restaurants will offer specials and complimentary samples throughout the tour – which runs until 5pm. Tour stops include: The 360 Condominiums, The Plaza Lofts, Capital Studios, and Eleven Austin.
In honor of their 2nd birthday, Swift’s Attic will be hosting a thank you birthday party on Sunday. The free event is open to partygoers who show that they follow Swift’s Attic on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram upon arrival or RSVP via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Each guest will receive one complimentary drink and free passed bites while they last. There will also be a cash bar. Additionally, all lunch and brunch items will be 25% off all month long.
Local hot-spot food trailer Llama’s Peruvian Creole is hosting a one-night only Supper Club experience on June 3. Llama’s Executive Chef Julio-Cesar Florez has prepared a five-course prix fixe menu with beverage pairings for the event dubbed “te llama la llama” – a pun that translates to “the llama calls you.” The five course Peruvian prixe fixe menu includes drink pairing in the form of frosty Pisco Sours and regional beer, along with live music entertainment and Peruvian art show.
