Brothers in beards, not blood, the Roosevelt’s music was written to “break your heart and make you shout for joy, all at the same time,” says duo half Jason Kloess. Their style is a hybrid of genres, including blues, country and rock n’ roll. Their songs sing deep into your being and because of that, happen to be this Citygram contributor’s favorite band. Check out their album, Cold Sheets, on Spotify to see if you can hear their influences like James Taylor, Ryan Adams, and Matt Nathanson. Insider tip: Send Jason a shot of whiskey to the stage — It’s his birthday!
