Citygram Austin and InstaDFW present One by One TX, a statewide art show featuring mobile photography from local and international artists. Be one of the first to see the gallery and taste dishes from four of Austin’s newest restaurant projects. There will be cocktail parings courtesy of Treaty Oak Distilling and a variety of interactive Instagram activities including live Insta-cookie printing, photo printing and screen printing.

BBQ Tasting: $15, Gallery: Free

One by One TX will kick off with a sunrise photowalk of East Austin followed by free Taco Deli breakfast tacos and free coffee from Chameleon Cold Brew while you view the gallery. If waking up early isn’t your thing, then you can stop by the gallery at noon and take part in an all-out barbecue tasting. There will be free beer and live music throughout the afternoon.

Today is the last day to view the gallery at One by One TX and in addition to the photography there will be an ice cream social courtesy of Lick Honest Ice Creams, artist workshops and a makers market featuring local Texas artisans. One by One TX is proud to say 50% of the proceeds from the art sold at the event will be donated to Girlstart, a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls in science, technology, engineering, and math through educational programs.

Texas Book Festival Love’s Indies

Free: 21 and over only

Texas Book Festival is celebrating the top 10 Austin-based independent literary publishers with a TBF Loves Indies Party at Cheer Up Charlie’s. There will be literary swag, raffle prizes, and meet-and-greets with local indies including American Short Fiction, Bat City and The Austin Review. Use the hashtag #TBFheartsIndies to get involved in the conversation.

Movie Night: Growing Cities

Free Entry, Snacks and Drinks

Follow filmmakers Dan Susman and Andrew Monbouquette on a journey of food, one vacant city lot, rooftop garden, and backyard chicken coop at a time. Learn about the food and communities these growers are building including some of Austin’s own including HausBar Farms, Springdale Farm, Boggy Creek Farm, and Rain Lily Farm! Snacks and drinks will be served during the film.
