This year’s event will be held at the east side’s Fair Market with the best of Austin’s bars, distilleries and drink masters competing in a dazzling night of fun, food and live music.

La Haine Debut at Alamo Drafthouse

$10

La Haine is the debut of a foreign film series at Alamo Drafthouse that links VisaEase and End Sounds (an Austin-based record label) for viewers interested in good cultural output from around the world. La Haine is an immigrant-focused film with a great French hip-hop soundtrack, and coincidentally turns 20 years old in 2015 (it was one of Vincent Cassel’s first films and won Cannes’ Best Director, et. al when it was originally released). An entire generation of people have never seen it in a movie theater so this is a chance to change that. It is the first in a series of foreign/international films that Visease will be doing at Alamo over the next year! Check out more about the film in this synopsis.
