Grab some culture this weekend at the opera’s second production of the season, ‘Romeo & Juliet.’ Based on the tragic love story we all read in high school (or the Leo and Claire Danes version we watched on screen), Charles Gounod’s production brings the story to the Austin stage with tremendous talent, including Stephen Costello as Romeo.

It’s a beer treasure hunt! Be among the first in the US to try Blue Moon’s newest White IPA release. The brewers want you to decode these GPS coordinates: 30.172035, -97.825846 to discover an exclusive launch party. The event is free and open to the public with promises of flowing IPA and plenty of nibbles, but if you are among the first 20 guests to arrive at the party, you will receive a clue that will lead to a secret beer dinner with one of Blue Moon’s brewmasters!

ABGB will be showing the Super Bowl and will have a half-time show all its own. They have invited patrons to make their own 60-second, PG-13 superbowl ad for their favorite ABGB Beer. Finalists’ work will be shown at halftime, and the staff will choose a lucky winner to receive their own pizza and beer party for 40 friends. French cuisine and fine wine are all you need to round out Monday night with the Master Sommelier-hosted First Mondays pairing series. Sommelier Craig Collins and Chef Andrew Curren will guide guests through a dynamic Pinot Noir pairing in the early evening. Reservations suggested but not required. ZACH Mainstage Productions presents a new play by Rick Elice about swashbuckling pirates and the young orphan who became Peter Pan! The production promises to ignite your imagination as it brings Neverland to life with unforgettable characters, spectacular stagecraft and a lot of fun. The show is appropriate for ages 6 and up and runs through March 1.
