Your Weekend Itinerary is here. For the week of June 26-July 2, Citygram recommends:
The Austin Food Blogger Alliance will be hosting an evening of food and drink benefiting Meals on Wheels and More. The event will be hosted at Bullock Texas State History Museum with live music, a silent auction and of course several bites and drinks from some of Austin’s best new restaurants. If you have an interest in joining the AFBA, the event will also be a great chance to mingle with some of Austin’s most prominent food bloggers. Click here for tickets and to see the full list of vendors.
$15 fest/$30 5k entry
Enjoy live music, food from Roppolo’s, Chi’Lantro BBQ and Amy’s ice cream and more as well as dozens of local vendors from 2-10pm on the green at the Long Center. Don’t miss Austin’s weirdest 5k race, where participants will run in crazy costumes and stop along the way for slip n’ slides and water balloon fights.
$10 advance/$13 door
