Get a taste of the best of Central Texas on Thursday at the 25th Annual Dolce Vita Food and Wine Festival at Laguna Gloria. Sip cocktails by David Allan (Tipsy Texan), taste sweets and bites from TRACE, Dolce Neve, East Side Showroom, The Bonneville (and many, more) while you watch live art demonstrations by Art School faculty members. DJ Hear No Evil will provide the music all night. All proceeds benefit The Contemporary Austin’s Innovative education programs.

The Pop Austin International Art Show is bringing together some of the most renowned contemporary artists from around the world this weekend at Fair Market. Celebrate Oktoberfest this Saturday at the German Free School of Austin for an authentic party hosted by the German Texan Heritage Society. The celebration will feature food from The Best Wurst and Pfeifer’s bakery and German beers (Hofbräu Oktoberfest, Märzen, Lager & Stiegl Radler), plus music by the Polkadillos, Joe Klaus, Shirley Johnson, The Siekers, Roland Revering, The Hot Peppers & The Austin Saengerrunde.
